What exactly is Galentine’s Day?
Not sure what Galentine’s Day is? Well, according to Urban Dictionary it is February 13th, the other half of Valentine’s Day when you celebrate your love for your lady friends. It originated with a 2010 episode of “Parks and Recreation” and has now become a non legal holiday. In the infamous episode the character Leslie Knope, who is played by the actress Amy Poehler, arranged for a breakfast celebration with her mom and girlfriends and dubbed it “Galentine’s Day”. “What’s Galentine’s Day? Oh, it’s only the best day of the year,” Knope says to the camera. “Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it breakfast style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It’s like Lilith Fair — minus the angst. Plus frittatas.” It is a day of “uteruses before duderuses” and “ovaries before brovaries.”

One of the most beautiful estate wedding venues in the whole Temecula Valley is Chateau Adare. Susan Mezin is the owner of this private estate and is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She works tirelessly to make sure the brides who rent her venue have the day of their dreams.

Last but not least, the gal pal we have mentioned before but must mention again, Shawna, is also a floral master. He skills are unmatched when it comes to floral arrangements. Like we have said before, there is nothing like working with great professionals. These girls are our crew. We love their work and can truly say there are none out there that can do their jobs as good as these ladies can. I guess that’s why we call them our Galentines.
